About the Awards
The Perimeter East Association of REALTORS® is fortunate to have many dedicated members and partners who contribute their time, energy, and talent to the Association, the real estate profession, and our communities. Each year, the Association recognizes individuals whose professionalism, leadership, service, and involvement exemplify the very best of our organization.
Award Nominations
Nominations for the awards listed below are encouraged. Online nomination forms are available on our Applications & Forms page. Annual award nominations are reviewed by the appropriate committee and must be submitted by the posted deadline.
REALTOR® of the Year
The REALTOR® of the Year Award is the Association's highest honor and recognizes a REALTOR® member whose professionalism, leadership, and service exemplify the very best of the real estate profession. Consideration is given to REALTOR® spirit, ethical business practices, service to clients and the public, civic involvement, and participation within the Association and the REALTOR® organization.
Mary Nelson REALTOR® Spirit Award
The Mary Nelson REALTOR® Spirit Award honors an active REALTOR® member who best exemplifies the enthusiasm, dedication, and positive spirit demonstrated by the late Mary Nelson, a tireless supporter of the Association. The recipient should inspire others through involvement in Association and community activities while projecting a positive REALTOR® image.
Clark Harrison Community Service Award
The Clark Harrison Community Service Award recognizes a REALTOR® member who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to serving others and creating positive change. Named in honor of Clark Harrison and his extraordinary legacy of service and resilience, the award considers involvement and leadership in community, charitable, cultural, political, and professional organizations.
Rookie of the Year
The Rookie of the Year Award recognizes a REALTOR® who has been active in real estate sales for no more than two years and who exemplifies cooperation, integrity, goodwill, and professionalism. The award also recognizes a new professional who has actively pursued success in listings and sales while becoming involved in the Association and the community.
Affiliate of the Year
The Affiliate of the Year Award recognizes a Business Affiliate who has actively participated in Association programs, events, and activities while demonstrating high principles, honesty, and integrity in service to REALTORS® and the general public. Consideration is also given to civic involvement, business accomplishments, and participation within the local and state REALTOR® organizations.
Spotlight Member of the Month
The Spotlight Member of the Month recognizes a REALTOR® member for outstanding REALTOR® spirit, civic activity, business accomplishments, and involvement within the local, state, and national REALTOR® organizations. Members may be nominated throughout the year for contributions that deserve special recognition.
REALTOR® Hall of Fame
The REALTOR® Hall of Fame honors members who have made extraordinary and distinguished contributions to the real estate profession and real estate markets in Georgia over a period of at least 20 years. This recognition celebrates a lasting legacy of professional achievement, leadership, and service to the REALTOR® organization and the industry.
